Your plan stays yours.

Trip Planner stores the trip details you choose to save. We use them only to provide the product, manage your account, and keep the service secure.

What we collect

  • Your account details, such as your email address.
  • The dates, places, stays, bookings, preferences, notes, and other trip details you save.
  • Billing status and payment identifiers. We never receive your full card number.
  • If you opt in to analytics, a random analytics identifier and a small set of product events such as starting a plan or reaching the free limit.
  • Messages you send when you contact support.

How we use it

  • To save, organize, display, export, and delete your Trip Plans.
  • To sign you in and protect your account.
  • To manage paid access and respond to support requests.
  • To find and fix technical or security problems.
  • If you opt in, to understand where people stop in the path from visiting Trip Planner to creating a trip and purchasing access.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run Trip Planner: WorkOS for sign-in, Convex for application data, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Sentry for limited error reporting, and PostHog US Cloud for optional product analytics. They process data only as needed to provide their services.

When you use Trip Planner through an AI assistant, that assistant has its own privacy terms. Trip Planner receives only the information needed to complete the action you requested.

Analytics

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security. Optional analytics cookies are off until you choose Accept optional cookies. If you accept, we set a first-party consent cookie and a random analytics identifier for up to 180 days. You can reject analytics or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawing deletes the identifier cookie and stops future analytics. Convex keeps a one-way digest of the withdrawn random identifier for no more than 180 days only to reject delayed or stale analytics requests; the digest is never sent to PostHog.

Analytics events use an explicit allowlist. They do not contain your email, prompts, Trip Plan titles or content, full URLs or query strings, WorkOS or Stripe identifiers, cookies, tokens, or other private content. We disable location lookup and person profiles, and we do not use advertising cookies, fingerprinting, autocapture, or session replay.

Your choices

You can export your data or permanently delete your account from the account page. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, or object to how your data is used.

Some billing records may be kept when required by law. Product data is deleted through our account-deletion process. Optional analytics records are kept for no more than 180 days and are not stored with your Trip Plan content.
